Unfortunately, the hearing has again been postponed ...this time until July. Please continue to pray...although this is frustrating...all happens in God's own timing (which very rarely matches our expectations!).
Apparently a very close friend of the defense attorney (her husband's attorney) was killed yesterday in a car crash. Please be praying for the family of the person killed and for the defense attorney who lost a dear friend.
I'll keep everyone updated as I can...

ReplyDeleteI will. What about the divorce hearing, was that postponed also? This must be such a difficult time for her family. I don't even know her personally, just through her blog, but I feel so badly for her. I know in time her heart will heal, her children's lives will become "normal" again and that God has a plan for them, but the transition must be incredibly painful to experience.
My almost-three-year-old and I pray together each night and we will be sure to remember them in the days ahead. I tell her that a friend of Mommy's and her children are hurting right now and they need God's love and protection. In the end, that's all any of us need.

ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us up to date. Whew, it seems like a roller coaster, expecting a trial and preparing for it and then having it delayed, again.
