I just can't help myself...Part 1

This last day before the election...I just had to share a few things....

Obama On Redistribution of Wealth

During the discussion Obama says, "Generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you,but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf . . . because the civil rights movement became so court-focused, I think that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change."

Listen to an audio interview Obama gave in 2001 with Chicago Public Radio WBEZ.FM. In this interview Obama discusses the best way to bring about a redistribution of wealth, how the Warren Supreme Court interpreted the law and the fact that it wasn't terribly radical.

Where do we put a stop to this?  Why should your hard earned money be taken from you because a government entity has deemed that you have enough?  Why should they be able to give it to someone else because they deem that they don't have enough?  How much of Mr. Obama's money has been given voluntarily to those less fortunate?  Heck...what about those in his own family??
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need (or needs) is a slogan popularized by Karl Marx in his 1875 Critique of the Gotha Program.[1] The phrase summarizes the principles that, under a communist system, every person should contribute to society to the best of their ability and consume from society in proportion to their needs, regardless of how much they have contributed. In the Marxist view, such an arrangement will be made possible by the abundance of goods and services that a developed communist society will produce; the idea is that there will be enough to satisfy everyone's needs.[2][3]

That is the same as redistributve wealth.  Did you catch that people????

IT IS A COMMUNIST SYSTEM!!!

Praying, here in Tennessee, that we will not give in to socialism or communism,

  1. wow. I also couldn't help myself and posted a blog too... generally I try to keep my opinions to myself aside from taking a stand against Pro-Choice... however this election needs more voices heard than normal. :)

    See you soon!
