Bail out + Stimulus Package = DISASTER!

As usual, Dr. Paul is the only one making sense.  If these people in government could learn to look beyond the end of their nose, think about our children's future, our nation's future and be willing to do the right thing...well...we just might stand a chance.  What do I think the chance of this is?  That whole "snowball in Florida" thing comes to mind.

Why does no one seem to understand that all of this money comes from one place only.....you!  I am sure if they came knocking on your door to collect your share of the bailout and stimulus....they'd get a lot more objections than they are now.  They are doing that...they are just dipping into your pocket in a much sneakier way.  Pickpockets are good at that.  Have you read where most of this money is going?  Can you say P.O.R.K. ?

These people interviewing Dr. Paul (and those people who work on the Hill...you  know the ones whose salary we pay)...make me think of toddlers.  Here is my "mama" take.  We have a bunch of toddlers (some people refer to them as Senators or Representatives).  They've been bad.  They've done bad things and they know they've done bad things.  They are whining and crying and excusing their behavior to mama (also known as the American people) because they don't want to take their consequences.  They still don't want to do the right thing because it will be "hard".  They don't like hard things...even if it will make everything right in the end.  They don't want to do hard things because their "friends" might be mad.  You know the ones who come around everyday for free cookies....they'll be mad when the cookies run out.  They want it to be all better....or at least make us think it is all better....even if it is just temporary ....even if it makes it worse in the end....and perhaps.....just perhaps.....that is really what they want after all.

Through their machinations, we are becoming an Empire rather than a Republic.

Make your voices heard people!  Remember....they work for us....they are supposed to represent us.  Remind them of that.  Often.

Blessings,

  1. Hmmmmmmm, represent US, the PEOPLE? I do not think they have been doing that for a long time (not if you look at them as a whole). In fact, the more one learns of the "behind the scenes" story...it is simply GOD's grace we are a country still...or even were yet in years past...a miracle!! I think we have to cling to the promise that if HIS people pray and repent, HE will heal the land...though maybe we are past that opportunity now...yet, still we who are HIS are held in HIS hand and certainly can expect HIM to help us as individuals anyway. Always that. Whatever comes.

  2. Amen! I wrote a long and silly post on the stimulus bill last night. I'd love to have seen Dr. Paul granted more influence in these decisions.

  3. Why did you not complain when Bush and the Repubs first did the bailout?

  4. Why do you assume I didn't?

And that is the last anonymous comment accepted on this site. No matter how good, bad, thoughtful or ugly...they will be deleted from now on.

  6. Please forgive this long post. We need to be in fervent prayer for our nation and our leaders. I am wondering what Dr. Paul's thoughts are about The Trilateral Commission.

Ever since George Herbert Walker Bush mentioned New World Order in one of his speeches years ago,(it's the first time I ever heard that term used) I've wondered what he meant. Well, I guess it was hiding in plain sight. It explains whats going on today. This is alot of reading material and I'm not sure anyone has the stomach for it. But we must get the word out. At least click on and read the first link. You may have to cut and paste the website addresses. The Trilateral Commission and the Center for Foreign Affairs has never hidden it's agendas. I've included other links below Brzezinski's quotes that you may be interested in.

    BRZEZINSKI STATES:
One of the most important "frameworks" in the world, and especially to Americans, was the United States Constitution. It was this document that outlined the most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Was our sovereignty really "fiction"? Was the U.S. vision no longer compatible with reality?

    BRZEZINSKI FURTHER STATES:
“The approaching two-hundredth anniversary of the Declaration of Independence could justify the call for a national constitutional convention to reexamine the nation's formal institutional framework. Either 1976 or 1989 - the two- hundredth an anniversary of the Constitution - could serve as a suitable target date culminating a national dialogue on the relevance of existing arrangements... Realism, however, forces us to recognize that the necessary political innovation will not come from direct constitutional reform, desirable as that would be. The needed change is more likely to develop incrementally and less overtly...in keeping with the American tradition of blurring distinctions between public and private institution.”13

In Brzezinski's Technetronic Era then, the "nation-state as a fundamental unit of man's organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state."14
Brzezinski’s philosophy clearly pointed forward to Richard Gardner’s Hard Road to World Order that appeared in Foreign Affairs in 1974, where Gardner stated:

"In short, the 'house of world order' would have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great 'booming, buzzing confusion,' to use William James' famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.”
