Ammunition Accountability Legislation

Orwell's 1984?  You ain't seen nothing yet. And so it continues....government intrusion, surveillance and their encroachment into our lives.  I noticed this last week that a town up the road was installing cameras at intersections....big ones!  Biggest cameras I've ever seen.  It is amazing for me to watch these things and there is no outcry....no one seems to care.  I read somewhere that if you live in the city you can expect at least 2/3 of your life to be recorded by cameras.  What happened to the right to privacy?

Here's another new one....the coding of ammunition.  The theory goes that if they can recover a bullet then they can trace who bought it.  Better keep you ammo under lock and key and be sure to report any theft!  However, if you follow along, it also means that your purchases are going into a government data base....the amount and the caliber of the ammo you buy.  Kinda solves that nasty problem of all those unregistered guns...if you have one and buy ammo for it...welll....2 + 2...

Here's the article....read the legislation (go to their website...they make it all sound so friendly!). If you live in one of the states where this is being proposed...write some letters.  I will be!
